tententen

Your message, your say.

Before you record 30 seconds of hope, here is exactly what you're agreeing to, in plain English.

01

What you're giving permission for

By recording a message for tententen, you agree that we can:

  • record your message (your face, voice and words);
  • make light edits: trimming to 30 seconds, adding subtitles and translations;
  • give it a number and publish it on tententen.world;
  • share it on tententen's own social media channels;
  • use it to show people what tententen is, including in launch and behind-the-scenes videos.

This permission is free of charge, worldwide, and lasts for as long as tententen runs, unless you ask us to remove your message (see section 04).

02

Your name

You choose. Your message can appear with your first name, or anonymously. We will never show your surname, email address or location unless you say in your message where you are.

03

What we will never do

  • Sell your message, or license it to anyone else.
  • Use it to advertise another company's products.
  • Allow it to be used to train AI models.
  • Edit it to change what you meant.
04

Changing your mind

You can ask us to remove your message at any time by emailing hello@tententen.world. We'll take it down from tententen.world and our own channels within 30 days.

We can't recall copies other people have already saved or shared, but we will stop showing it ourselves. Your number stays reserved and shows a note that the message was removed.

05

Who can take part

You must be 18 or over. You confirm the message is your own, and that anyone else who appears in it has agreed to be filmed.

06

Your data

tententen is run by Unrealised Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15433151). We are responsible for your data under UK data protection law.

  • What we keep: your video, your name, and your email address (so we can contact you about your message).
  • Why: because you've given us permission to publish your message.
  • How long: for as long as your message is published, or until you ask us to remove it.
  • Your rights: you can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time.

If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

By recording your message, you confirm you've read this and agree to it.
